Conveniently located in the peaceful village of Martock, our home is easy to reach by car, train or bus, with ample on-site parking and excellent local transport links. Whether travelling from nearby Yeovil or further afield, families and friends can enjoy a straightforward and welcoming journey every time they visit.

La Fontana Care Home is located on Foldhill Lane, Martock, Somerset TA12 6PQ.
Visitors arriving from Yeovil can reach us in around 15 minutes via the A3088, which connects directly to Martock through Stapleton Road and Foldhill Lane. From Taunton, take the A358 toward Ilminster, then follow signs for the A303 eastbound, exiting at the A356 (Bower Hinton/Martock) junction. The home is well signposted within the village and there is ample free on-site parking for residents’ families and visitors.

Those travelling from further afield can access Martock easily via the A303, a major route linking Somerset to the rest of the South West and London. The drive from Exeter takes roughly 1 hour and from Bristol about 75 minutes.

The nearest railway station is Yeovil Junction (EXD), located approximately 7 miles (15–20 minutes) from La Fontana Care Home. Yeovil Junction is served by South Western Railway, with regular services running between Exeter St Davids and London Waterloo.
Alternatively, Crewkerne Station, roughly 10 miles away, offers connections on the same line. Visitors arriving by train can take a local taxi directly to the home or use bus service 81, which links Yeovil Town Centre with Martock.

Several local bus routes connect Martock with neighbouring towns and villages. Bus 81 runs regularly between Yeovil Bus Station and Crewkerne, stopping in Martock Square, just a short walk from La Fontana on Foldhill Lane.
Other nearby services include the 51 to Somerton and Taunton, offering flexible travel options for families visiting by public transport. For the most up-to-date timetable information, visitors can check Traveline South West or First Bus Somerset online.

La Fontana Care Home is fully accessible to visitors with mobility needs. The main entrance features a gentle ramp and automatic doors, while the interior has wide, level corridors and a passenger lift to all floors. Dedicated accessible parking bays are available close to the entrance, and our friendly staff are always happy to assist guests to and from resident rooms.
